Hello, my name is Allison. I was 29 years old at the time and my 3 children, La’Tavia (age 10), Reginal (age 6), and Jonathan age 5, came to Waco in August of 2010 looking for a new start, trying to leave the old things behind. I met Dr. Patricia Iglehart through renting a house that she had for rent on Gurley Ave. in South Waco. There she introduced us to her ministry, Just As I Am Ministries, Inc. I grew up Pentecostal and I raised my children up the same way. I was a single mother at the time and I worked hard to support me and my family. Dr. Iglehart took my children under her wing and picked them up and took them to church with her every Sunday morning.
